Susan is a psychologist who has worked extensively in developing education programmes about the psychology of human-animal relationships. She has advised individuals, veterinary practices, large corporations and several charitable organisations such as The RSPCA, Blue Cross and The Donkey Sanctuary.

Helen’s first degree was a Bachelors in Equine Science. She then trained as a human physiotherapist working with musculoskeletal, neurological and critical care patients, followed by completion of a Masters in Veterinary Physiotherapy at the Royal Veterinary College. Helen now works closely with specialist veterinary clinicians delivering a comprehensive range of land and water-based physiotherapy techniques, as both an inpatient and outpatient service.

Stephanie Hedges BSc (Hons) CCAB
Animal Behaviour Expert
Stephanie has a first class honours degree in Veterinary Nursing and worked as a vet nurse for over 20 years. She studied Applied Animal Behaviour at the University of Southampton and started her canine behaviour practice in 2005. She is a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) and a Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB). She now combines her full time role as a Behaviour Counsellor with writing and a variety of speaking engagements. Her first book ‘Practical Canine Behaviour for Veterinary Nurses and Technicians’ was published in August 2015.

Rabbit Care Expert
Laura has been nursing for 15 years. She has worked in zoos, referral practices, new start ventures, leading charity hospitals and as a head nurse. Her primary interest within the veterinary world is the nursing care of rabbits and education of rabbit owners. Laura has recently completed a Rabbit Nursing course at the Royal Veterinary College, and is currently studying the BVNA Certificate in Rabbit Nursing. Laura currently works as a night nurse in a busy referral hospital in the West Country and runs Bunnylicious Rabbit Boarding and Bonding from home in the Midlands.
Samantha Bloomfield BSc MA VetMB GPCert(SAS) MRCVS
Puppy and Kitten Expert
Samantha has a degree in Nutrition from King’s College London and qualified as a vet from Cambridge University. Since then she has worked in mixed and small animal practice in the UK and abroad. She has over 30 years of experience of hand rearing sick and premature animals starting with her time running a unique referral clinic for puppies and kittens. Samantha has a website offering advice to breeders and the veterinary profession and authored the book ‘Bloomfield’s Manual of Puppy Hand Rearing’.

Animal Behaviour Expert
Rosie is a Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist and chair of The Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors. She is a registered Animal Behaviour and Training Council Clinical Animal Behaviourist practitioner. Rosie holds a BSc(Hons) in Zoology and an MPhil in Animal Behaviour and Welfare and consults as a companion animal behaviourist on Jersey. Rosie is a contributing author in ‘The APBC Book of Companion Animal Behaviour’ and has published a book on dog behaviour ‘Good Dog? Bad Dog?’

Elliott Simpson BVSc MRCVS
Avian Expert
With an interest for exotic pet medicine and in particular a passion for avian medicine, Elliott completed an externship in Avian Medicine & Surgery at the Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital in the UAE during his final year of Vet School. Elliott currently works as a veterinary surgeon at Westover Veterinary Centre, Norfolk.
